What is Cardano?

What is a Cardano (ADA) wallet?
You can safely store and access your Cardano (ADA) in an encrypted physical or digital wallet that adds another layer of security against threats of keeping it on an exchange. Some physical hardware wallets are handy, but costly. Other wallets, like the official wallet for ADA called Daedalus, is available for free on Windows and MacOS. With most of these options, you retain your keys, sleep better at night, and even earn more ADA by staking.
What is blockchain?
Blockchain is an online ledger in which transactions are recorded with a cryptographic signature called a hash. Each digital record or transaction within the ledger is called a block. The goal of the technology is to allow digital information to be recorded and distributed, but not altered or edited.
How does nspyr stake pool work?
The more stake delegated to nspyr, the better chances it has to produce a block. When nspyr produces a block, the pool operators and the pool delegators are rewarded with more ADA. There are two ways ADA holder can earn rewards: by delegating their stake to a pool like nspyr, or by running their own stake pool. Your ADA is 100% safe and never leaves your personal wallet. No lock-up period, and you can deposit and withdraw anytime you want.
Do I have to lock-up my ADA when I stake it?
No! There is no a lock-in period for staking. Your ADA never leaves your wallet and you can access it anytime with the same ability to withdraw, deposit, and spend any amount you wish. Think of it as a savings account that only you have access to.
What percentage (%) of pool operator rewards does NSPYR donate to Love146?
NSPYR has an agreement with Love146 to donate 10% of all pool operator rewards that it receives from the Ouroboros Protocol. 10% of all pool operator rewards will be withdrawn from the reward account, transferred to a designated Love146 wallet, sold at current market value, and then that value will be donated through Love146.org.
What is an epoch, and why does it matter?
An epoch is a measurement of time that is the equivalent of 5 days. When you stake to any Cardano pool, it takes approximately 15-20 days from when you stake until when you receive your first reward. After that, you’ll begin to receive rewards every epoch (5 days).
Do i have to send my ADA to an Address for staking?
No, Staking ADA never requires withdrawing your ADA from your wallet, we will never ask you to send your ADA to stake with us.
What is minimum ADA stake amount?
Minimum amount of ADA can be staked is 2 ADA.
